The new jerseys were unveiled yesterday, Monday, April 15th. With much excitement and anticipation due to the love the team had received when the Jets revealed their all-white legacy uniforms. Although these uniforms were only worn twice last season many fans admired them during the primetime games in which they were worn. In fact, Jets Twitter has had an overwhelming amount of excitement and satisfaction that the “Adam Gase” and “Dark Ages” uniforms are finally gone. These uniforms were an era known for losing and drama within the organization. Including Jamal Admas, Adam Gase, Sam Darnold, and the constant sitting and starting of Zach Wilson. But the new jerseys are very sleek and minimalistic but also beautiful. Throwbacks and retro are in style with many teams wearing throwback uniforms, the Jaguars being the most recent. There is light at the end of the tunnel and many fans are eager for the new NFL season to start and watch the new legacy uniforms in action.
Many fans are excited for this new “old” era returning to the Jets. Most notably the New York Sack Exchange affiliated with the new retro logo. Adding new pass rusher Hasaan Reddick allows for this already dominant defensive line to flourish. Much excitement has occurred within the organization and still so much time left this offseason I am excited to see what’s next and possibly who is next for this team. The Jets have the 10th overall pick in this year’s NFL draft.
